Faculty of Social Sciences - 30 years of establishment and development

On 24 September 1997, the Prime Minister of Vietnam issued Decision No. 797/QĐ-TTg establishing Hong Duc University, marking a significant milestone in the development of higher education in Thanh Hoa Province. As the first public university directly administered by a local government in Vietnam, and bearing the name Hong Duc in honor of Emperor Le Thanh Tong, the University has rapidly become a leading center for education, scientific research, and knowledge transfer in Thanh Hoa Province and the North Central region.
